What If Vladimir Putin Does Know
a “Third Way” for Society?
Vladimir Putin saved Russia from the scavengers of the Yeltsin era. What’s more, he’s fundamentally re-forming the world’s biggest country in ways few understand. Unfortunately, Russia has enemies bitterly opposed to the idea of Russians taking a leadership role in the world once again. While think tanks and “new world” evangelists in the west promise change and progress, Putin and his colleagues are at work, resolutely forging a new Russia.
Many people believe that Russia under Putin is a totalitarian regime. Meanwhile, fanatical followers of the Russian president defend his moves as an effort to hammer out some pseudo-American form of democracy. But neither of these characterizations of Putin are accurate. Many have sought to study Putin, while simply applying their own ideologies either “for or against” what they believe Putin is. The reality is, there is a “third way” of reshaping Russia’s future. It is abundantly clear that Putin, by far the best read leader in the world, is forging a new Russia politic, derived largely from the teachings of the Russian religious and political philosopher, Ivan Ilin..
The Spirit of Law
Most reading this will not be familiar, but Ilyin’s ideas on the “conscience of law” were seeming logic, but utter genius. His belief that the need for people to understand laws in order to validate a legal society, they now reverberate in the civil uneasiness that prevails today, and especially in the so-called “west”. Ultra-liberalism, and the fuel of ultra-capitalistic trends as we see gripping the United States, would for Ilyin signal an apocalypse. There is no arguing that the law of and for any people, has to be understood in order to stand. Without delving deeply into Ilyin’s theories, the philosopher believed that “the people” can never identify with be part of “the system” under rigid democratic forms of government. In contrast, Ilyin believed the right monarchy tends to unite people to identify the state as “family”. Interestingly, Ilyin’s being a monarchist mimics some of the founding fathers of the United States, in that the values he espoused were based on religious piety and the family.
If we look down into the crevasse in between the forward ideals of Vladimir Putin, and America’s President Barack Obama, we can readily see Ilyin’s notions at work. Obama’s America, as liberal as any government in history, is on a collision course with deconstruct. America values today are naïve, irresponsible, and destructive of everything Americans have stood for for generations. Family is only a word, religion is worn like a badge of shame, and a free lunch ticket has been issued for conscience. Laws in America are changed at the whim of a special interest. Conservative people there hold back their fear the United States is becoming a modern day Sodom and Gomorrah, and only the neocons truly believe government is for them. Misunderstanding their law, precedence, and its own governing principles, Americans do not even understand this disintegration. Similarly, Russians do not yet grasp what Putin and his fellows are up to. Somehow, they trust to be led though, and not because they are complacent like Americans.
“I have spent all my life under a Communist regime, and I will tell you that a society without any objective legal scale is a terrible one indeed. But a society with no other scale but the legal one is not quite worthy of man either.” – Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn -
Machiavelli Knew All Along
I don’t want to dig too deeply into Mr. Putin’s passion for the study of Ilyin, or Vladimir Solovyov, or Nikolai Berdyaev, or even Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn, but these idealists’ brilliance are integrated into who the Russian president is. More importantly, a “third way” of government is the goal Putin, Medvedev, and even the powerful oligarchs of Russia seem bent on. In order to see this, one has to realize the Russia that Vladimir Putin rescued from dissolution. In his characterization of Putin, the article “Vladimir Putin – The Prince”, Christopher Caldwell frames perfectly Mr. Putin’s Russia today:
“Had Russia been led by someone steelier than Mikhail Gorbachev when falling oil prices drove it into crisis in the 1980s, the collapse of Communism “might have happened only two or three decades later in a world situation quite different from the one in 1991.” Putin’s Russia is a system of “sovereign democracy” moored between Orthodox Christianity and Machiavellian realism.”
Caldwell “nails Putin” in his review of “The New Tsar: The Rise and Reign of Vladimir Putin”, by Steven Lee Myers, and “Putinism: Russia and Its Future with the Wes”t, by Walter Laqueur . Or I should say, Meyers and Laqueur collectively understand Russia’s leader. What we see going on in Russia, in the world, is a metamorphosis. Those who examine Putin or Russia, with a mindset fixed on “what is”, have no understanding of Putin at all. In order to fully understand Putin’s “end game” here, researches need to see the transformation as if from a train window, not from the 91st floor office window of study.
I found a reference to the “third way” in the book “Metaphor and Gender in Business Media Discourse: A Critical Cognitive Study”, by V. Koller this morning. While I can assure you it is not light reading, it does shed light on the realm of study Putin and Kremlin officers are engaged in. The author analyses cognitive change within the context of business and societal strategies, and even Sun Tzu’s war arts. My point here is, while western mainstream media parrots simplistic Russophobic chatter, Putin’s administration has set course toward real change. The Hillary Clintons of the world compare Putin to Hitler and Stalin, and try and strike fear into people over a new Soviet Empire. Meanwhile, the real ideologies are far from fascism, totalitarianism, or even formal democracy as the neocons running the show in America define it. So the overriding question; “What is Putin’s third way”, is never asked, it’s never even hinted at. Instead, independent journalists like me are often cajoled into studying the so-called “New World Order”, the George Soros, David Rockefeller, and Jacob Rothschild machinations. When in truth the role of these men is simply part of a mechanism of decaying imperialism. The beliefs of these people are as archaic and juvenile, as those of the Soviet system of things, or of Rome itself. The fact that westerners “believe” in democracy at all, is proof enough that failed systems die hard. Understanding Putin is impossible, for people in the other worldly view. This is evidence in a New York Times piece by David Brooks from 2014. “Putin Can’t Stop” shows us the faces behind western media and hegemony. Brooks mimics the “think tank” view with:
“To enter into the world of Putin’s favorite philosophers is to enter a world full of melodrama, mysticism and grandiose eschatological visions.”
Brooks is not unlike other self proclaimed conservatives in the United States, for he appears to live under the cloud of his own delusions, of a kind of ideological kinship with founding father, Alexander Hamilton. I call his ideas delusions for the simple reason, that Alexander Hamilton was closer ideologically to Vladimir Putin than anyone in the United States system of governing. Brooks has to know this, so making the mysterious villain of Putin must have other consequences. There is no mysticism in Russian ideals at the moment, which is unless you are an atheist or Satan worshipper.
Like Alexander Hamilton and others “monarchists” of that time, Putin has to wrestle with the dilemma confronting his Russian people. Democracy clearly will not work, for the world is lucky to still be partially in tact, even despite Wall Street and Arab Spring melting points. Debt creation and well oiled printing presses at the US treasury cannot be “the way”. Just as certainly as believers in God will eventually rebel against agnosticism or devil worship, the people will one day soon abandon failed economics models. Putin and his advisers know this. We all do. Paul Craig Roberts’ proclamation that we have entered the “Looting Stage of Capitalism”, is the most poignant evangelical point for 2016. To synthesize his comments:
“Everywhere in the Western world a variety of measures, both corporate, and governmental, have resulted in the stagnation of income growth. In order to continue to report profits, mega-banks and global corporations have turned to looting.”
So, Putin’s Russia, even China and the other BRICS, are gravitating away from the rapidly disintegrating capitalist/democratic experiment. And this is the root of today’s crises, but there is something more, and the “third way” is both emblematic in humanity’s legacy, and from within an ethereal context. “Spirit” and enlightenment are a component of Putin’s “New Russia”. And to grow such a construct will require a Machiavellian heart, only directed for a brave cause. Unlike his western counterparts, Putin is a religious man, bent on defending Orthodoxy, as well as “third way” ideas.
Against an Illegitimate Enlightenment
Just as the European Enlightenment undermined ideas of morality, and the notion of “Lucifer”, the new age ultra-liberalized western world has been on a mission to revamp spirituality and morals. The idea “everything is alright if it feels good”, has been fed the intravenous drug of public acquiescence, especially in America. But the reality of human spirituality cannot be legislated out, media cannot propagandize an ancient tenant out of our systems. Just as 19th Century artists recollected the mysteries of God and the Devil as a counterinsurgency against the theoretical justification of evil’s passing, so too Putin and modern players rekindle our imaginations. Excuse my metaphors again, but our spirituality has been under assault for decades now. To quote Mark Hackard’s translation of an essay entitled “IVAN ILYIN: ON THE DEVIL”, by Ivan Ilyin :
“There appears the demonism of doubt; negation; pride; rebellion; disappointment; bitterness; melancholy; contempt; egoism, and even boredom.”
And isn’t this the “demonism” that now grips the western world? One does not have to be a philosopher to see, the New World Order is a very old order. Contemptuously, New York Times authors mimic the minions of banished ruthless Russian oligarchs like Mikhail Khodorkovsky. Anyone observing these people can, with a silent prayer to the almighty, lift the veil on a real Lucifer among us. But the Biblical allusions do not stop at spotlighting soulless leaders and societies. Ilyin continues, reflecting on how the waiting word is drawn toward demonic idols.
“Byron; Goethe; Schiller; Chamisso; Hoffman; Franz Liszt; and later Stuck, Baudelaire, and others display an entire gallery of demons or demonic men and moods. Moreover, these demons are intelligent, witty, educated, ingenious, and temperamental, in a word, charming and evoking sympathy, while demonic men are the incarnation of “world-angst,” “noble protest,” and some “higher revolutionary consciousness.”
The author opens for me, a window into the back lot of some Hollywood studio lunch counter, where celebrities chat glowingly on their own leftist melancholy. They are idiots in the court of lunatics, led by a whore named Lucifera, the anti-heroine of the Italian comic book. Goodness is turned upside down, and it’s clear humanity needs to escape the cycle. What humankind is experiencing today is one segment traversing from demonic self satisfaction into utter Satanism, confronted by men like Putin who would assert another regime. As conspiratorial and medieval as this may sound, the world has traversed this territory many times before. Now the stage is set. Now we can understand if we watch.
“Satanic men are recognized by their eyes, by their smile, their voice, their words and deeds. We, Russians, have seen them alive and in the flesh; we know who they are and whence they come. Yet foreigners up to this point have not understood this phenomenon and do not want to understand it, for it brings them judgment and condemnation.” Ivan Ilyin (1883-1954)
Interestingly, amazingly, “the third way” is a mirror image of what American neocons express. IIyin’s third choice, Putin’s, is the only logical solution for government for and by a people. Classic liberalism, being no more valid that the failed conservative manifestations, leaves us with this “third way”, which is a more flexible, if complex model. In another ironic twist, both east and west have already visited IIyin’s concepts, if only briefly. Russia first ventured into “third way” concepts before the October Revolution, while western democracies toyed with, then developed past a balanced ideal. Russia revolted out of “the way”, and America sprinted “past” the solution to the problem of governance. The “third way” reconciled good and evil, and the rational versus the irrational. What New York Times scholars write off as hocus pocus mysticism is in reality reconciliation. In short, Putin and his experiments may provide the answer. For example, author Alexander V. Zenkovsky attempts to reconcile mystical realism as:
“Acknowledging all the reality of empirical world, but also another reality behind; the two domains of being are real but not equal: empirical being can only exist for the account of mystic reality.”
The “Oh So” Peculiar Russian Way (It may be “the” way)
As to Mr. Putin’s enacting this “third way” liberalization of Russia, his nation’s peculiarities and history, the whole (Russian idea), demands a more flexible system for realizing the application of liberal principles. This is something Putin has tried to explain to westerners many times, but which is also purposefully overlooked. This Foreign Affairs piece lets us know western think tanks fully understand Putin’s strategies, but choose to convolute them for obvious ideological reasons. Author Anton Barabashin is the Managing Editor of The Intersection Project, which partners with the Centre for Polish-Russian Dialogue and Understanding, which is affiliated with George Soros’ Open Society Foundations etc. And his go-author Hannah Thoburn is an Adjunct Fellow at the Hudson Institute in Washington, D.C., which is closely tied to the Rockefeller family (see “Agency of Fear: Opiates and Political Power in America”, by Edward Jay Epstein). Make no mistake about it, everything is being thrown against the notion of change, by western institutions vested in their own logic. We cannot expect western capitalistic democracy to willingly deconstruct its ideals, now can we?
So, the political immaturity of Russia, is reflected in the metamorphism we see Russia undergoing now. It is this “immaturity”, and the necessary experimentation by Putin, which present the biggest hurdles, and greatest potential for Russia and the world. Yes, Putin’s government takes on the cloak of totalitarianism at times, but this is a transient necessity. Remember, Russia is as much a “process” as a thing. In my view, we shall soon see “Putin’s philospher’s” ideas transform not only Russia, but the world system we currently live under now. In fact this is already apparent, looking at how pitifully ineffective leaders in the west have been in curtailing Russia’s progress. Sanctions don’t work, vilifying Putin only makes him more loved, NATO cannot advance, Soros and the others are being kicked from Russia, at every turn the inevitable gets more real.
Finally, IIyin wrestled with the idea liberal values could be reconciled with the public will via another approach. The civil core of society needs the lawful understanding of an authoritarian construct, while at the same time spiritual and other freedoms finalize the Utopia. Put simply, Russia is in the perfect position to experiment with a sustainable model for humanity. And Putin is the perfect blacksmith for forging something new and improved. The people must really understand any system, in order to trust the system. And the system cannot survive in the chaos of ramped self interest. Communism and socialism won’t do, and neither will dictatorships, or the capitalist devil. I say we give Putin a chance. If there is no “third way”, we can always restart Babylon. It’s been done 100 times before.

PUTIN EXPOSES VACCINES
March 5, 2016 by Dane Arr
Russian president Vladimir Putin says that Western governments are enslaving humanity through vaccines.
‘When your children are barely human, psychologically-altered bots, their nerve cells and synapses failing to connect, and their neurodevelopmental processes dulled to the point of restricting them to sub-human level repetitive grunts and gormless stares, what are you going to do then?’
An insider from the Ministry of Health in Russia has revealed that an explosive report is being prepared that will be presented to the Kremlin on Tuesday regarding the huge vaccination cover-up being perpetuated by the US government agencies and its regulatory bodies, which is having disastrous consequences around most of the world.
It is understood President Putin personally requested the report. He instinctively mistrusts the vaccine agenda and wants the report to investigate the state of play regarding vaccines, Big Pharma, and
Western governments, in order to formulate a solid, direct response that will stand his people in good stead for the future.
According to the Ministry of Health insider, the report validates President Putin’s suspicions. There is a huge conflict of interests between the government agencies which regulate vaccines and the corporations that approve and implement the vaccines.
This investigation, involving internationally respected scientists and leading medical professionals, won’t be a laughably corrupt affair involving a payroll of ‘scientists’ who are willing to say or do anything for a dollar or two. Considering the fact that leading scientists and doctors who have dared voice concern about state-enforced vaccinations have been dying under mysterious circumstances in the US in recent years, kudos must be given to those brave enough to continue speaking out.
It is claimed the report will declare the situation a ‘self-perpetuating criminal racket.’ Educational institutions and scientific bodies are also ‘motivated by greed and generally corrupt.’ A recent study by the University of Bristol that declared diet soda to be healthier than water (a study covertly funded by the Coca Cola Company) is presented as an example of the absurd situation in the West at the moment, and is held up to ridicule.
The report says that President Putin believes the next stage of human evolution is currently in “grave risk” and that Western and global powers are “intentionally decelerating the process for their personal gain.”
“We as a species have the choice to continue to develop our bodies and brains in a healthy upward trajectory, or we can follow the Western example of recent decades and intentionally poison our population with genetically altered food, pharmaceuticals, vaccinations, and fast food that should be classified as a dangerous, addictive drug.”
“We must fight this. A physically and intellectually disabled population is not in our interests,” the report states.
Describing the average government-controlled Westerner as an “intensively vaccinated borderline autistic fat man slumped in front of a screen battling a high-fructose corn syrup comedown,” the report states that such tactics used by governments to subjugate their citizens are not only “dark/evil” but “counter-productive in the medium to long term.”
Russia under President Putin has been giving away land for free in the past few years to people willing to farm organically and sustainably. The goal is to become the world’s “leading exporter” of non-GMO foods that are based on “ecologically clean” production.
The Security Council report comes just months after the Kremlin announced a stop to the production of all GMO-containing foods, which was seen by the international community as a major step in the fight against multinationals like Monsanto. Russia continues to lead the way in the realm of natural, organic farming.
Mother beats cancer with JUICING after told she only had two weeks to live
February 17, 2016 SOURCE:- NATURAL NEWS
(NaturalNews) When you become a parent, life changes a lot. Suddenly, you're responsible for another life and you realize that you can't afford to do a lot of things that you used to. Obviously, there are pros and cons, but one constant is that every parent feels a burning need to be there for their daughter or son. Particularly while the child is young, it falls on the mother and father to help their offspring understand this world and how to get by in it.
If you had two young siblings, a girl of six and a boy of five, they would definitely be your main concern, so much so that you couldn't imagine life without them. But what if you were told that you had stomach cancer? That it had spread to your lymph nodes, neck and almost all of your abdomen and you may have less than a month to spend with your children and husband?
A woman who refused to give up
This was the case of Natasha Grindley, a 37-year-old mom from Liverpool whose condition was deemed terminal by hospital doctors. In July 2014, healthcare advisers told Natasha that it was very possible that she would die before the end of the month. However, as a mother of two young siblings, she felt that she was yet to be beat. While doctors were hesitant to call the illness for what it was, the nursery teacher accepted her diagnosis and, together with her husband, started reading on cancer research.
Along with caring for her 5-year-old son Liam and 6-year-old daughter Gabriella, the couple made it their obsession to find alternative therapies for cancer. They accepted doctors' advice to begin chemotherapy, but they knew that there must also be other things they could do. On its own, chemo can cause even more cancer. In a couple of days, Natasha became acquainted with renowned author Deliciously Ella and started fighting cancer with proper nutrition.
More than just "alternative"
Even though her health was rapidly declining, Natasha's radical change to her diet helped her immensely. Contrary to everyone's expectations, she started looking better while on chemo. Her friends were simply amazed at her glow. Moreover, the newly acquired diet changed her outlook and improved her emotional state.
"I used the foods to power up my immune system and that helps me because my blood is then ready for chemo," Natasha said, as reported by the Daily Mail. "I noticed that every time I made a change to my diet, I saw a positive difference in how I felt."
The mom's secret is, actually, no secret to the world of nutrition. Many before her managed to stop or even cure cancer with major diet changes and juicing. What they all have in common is adjusting their diet to minimize artificial sugars and potentially harmful meat products while increasing their intake of organic vegetables, particularly carrots. Continuing to defy the predictions of her clinical diagnosis, Natasha hopes to spread the knowledge she managed to gain in the darkest moments of her life and teach others about the power that nutrition holds.
Two years from a two weeks' notice
Now it's been two years since Mrs. Grindley was told that she had no more than two weeks left with her family. Ever since, the nursery teacher's dedication and gratefulness to alternative treatments led her to complete a higher education degree in nutrition and start her own Facebook page. Backing up her experience with scientific arguments, the mother now hopes others will benefit from the power that diet has in curing various illnesses.
Neither doctors nor Natasha claim that cancer can solely be cured through diet, but changing one's food habits has proven to be at the root of numerous positive benefits, particularly in those cases where patients have to deal with terminal diseases. The harder it is on the body, the more pressure is put on the immune system, and a diet rich in fresh, organic produce is what powers an immune system to fight. How many servings of vegetables and fruit do you eat a day?
UNSPEAKABLE ADMISSION: I REGRET MY ABORTIONS
Older women lament early-life decisions, face senior years alone
Published: January 2, 2016
The 47-year-old unnamed woman wrote, “Each time I hear a child laughing or see children playing, I regret not having any. I truly regret that I did not have at least one child to leave all that I have worked so hard for. It’s not easy knowing that as you grow old, and friends pass on, that there is no one there to take care of you if the worst happens.”
In today’s permissive culture, such an admission is tantamount to heresy. Women are not supposed to regret abortions; they’re supposed to feel liberated.
Admitting she was too young with her first pregnancy (at 17) and not ready to face motherhood alone when her boyfriend abandoned her during her second pregnancy (at 23), the woman now laments the emptiness of her life without children.
“I guess that’s the irony of life – something comes your way and you reject it; but when you want that same thing later, it never comes your way again,” she wrote. “My two closest friends and I have gone through the same thing, and when we get together all we do is sip wine and laugh at how our lives have turned out. Each of us say that had we known how empty our lives would have been now without a child, we would have brought ours into the world. Unfortunately, each of us is way past that age that we can have a child now. I am 47 and they are 48 years old. This guilty feeling is why I decided to talk about my biggest regret. Young women need to hear from people like me who have walked in their shoes, did what we were told, but now are unhappy because of it.”
The woman does not believe in making abortion illegal, but merely advises young women to anticipate what their future might be like without children. “I firmly believe that as long as a girl is over 18 years old and gets pregnant, she should bring that child. The only reasons I would even consider abortion is if I was raped, or tests show that the baby would be disabled.”
Regret for abortions is something progressives have attempted to downplay at all costs. In July, Time magazine reported on a three-year study by the multidisciplinary academic journal PLOS ONE that showed “hardly any” women regret having an abortion.
The PLOS ONE study reported, “Women experienced decreasing emotional intensity over time, and the overwhelming majority of women felt that termination was the right decision for them over three years. Emotional support may be beneficial for women having abortions who report intended pregnancies or difficulty deciding.”
Time magazine summarized, “Ninety-five percent of women who have had abortions do not regret the decision to terminate their pregnancies. [The study's] conclusions come after a three-year research period in which nearly 670 women were regularly surveyed on the subject of their abortions. The sample group was diverse with regard to standard social metrics (race, education, and employment) and on the matter of what the study calls pregnancy and abortion circumstances. Financial considerations were given as the reasons for an abortion by 40 percent of women; 36 percent had decided it was ‘not the right time;’ 26 percent of women found the decision very or somewhat easy; 53 percent found it very or somewhat difficult.”
However, this study “has a number of flaws that belie the conclusions drawn by the authors,” according to the website AfterAbortion.com, which called the study “deceptive.”
“Among the flaws:
The study’s findings and conclusions are overreaching due to self-selection and high drop out rates. … This means 62.5% of women refused to participate in the study, at first request, and another 15% dropped out before or during the baseline interview, yielding only a 31.9% participation rate at baseline.
With 68.1% percent of eligible women refusing to participate in the study at baseline, it is improper for the authors to suggest that their findings reflect the general experiences of most women. … In a … post-abortion interview study by Soderberg, the author reported that in interviews with those declining to participate “the reason for non-participation seemed to be a sense of guilt and remorse that they did not wish to discuss. An answer often given was: ‘Do do not want to talk about it. I just want to forget.’”
It is very likely that the self-selected 31.9% percent of women agreeing to participate were more highly confident of their decision to abort prior to their abortions and anticipated fewer negative outcomes.
Despite the initial selection bias, 15 percent of those agreeing to be interviewed subsequently opted out of the baseline interview and another 31 percent opted out within the three year followup period. This indicates that even among women who expected little or no negative reactions, the stress of participating in follow up interviews lead to a change of mind.
The deceptive practices of the research team are made clear in press releases and an infographic purporting to summarize the study. In these “summaries” the research group conceals the details regarding the high non-participation rate and boldly claims “95 percent of women who had abortions felt it was the right decision, both immediately and over 3 years” — omitting the fact that 62.5 percent refused to participate at the time of their abortion, another 15 percent dropped out prior to the baseline interview, and of those interviewed another 31 percent dropped out by the third year. The fact that the abstract, press release, and other summarizing materials published by the authors consistently omit mention of the high rate of non-participation is problematic itself. The fact that they, to the contrary, consistently imply that their results apply to the entire population of women having abortions is clearly deceptive.”
AfterAbortion.com also lists numerous points demonstrating why the study was not representative of the generation population of women seeking abortion.
It’s worth noting this study did not include older women who had abortions at a young age, such as the Barbados woman who had later-life regrets. In fact, Theresa Bonpartis of Reclaiming Our Children notes, “The study only looked at three years after a woman’s abortion. Most women do not even begin to deal with an abortion until around seven years after.”
Bonpartis adds, “To be honest, this [study] makes me angry. Mostly because it perpetuates the feeling of being crazy if your abortion does bother you, like there is something wrong with you if it does.”
The Barbados woman who now regrets her two abortions has advice for young women: “[N]one of us could see the future. We never could have imagined back then that we would be so close today. And that is why I take the position that I do on abortions. Avoid them at all cost.”
IV Vitamin C Will Stop Growth of Aggressive Forms of Cancer
by DAVE MIHALOVIC
NOVEMBER 9, 2015
High-dose vitamin C has been studied as a treatment for patients with cancer since the 1970s. It can completely shut down specific types of tumors. According to a new study from Weill Cornell Medicine investigators, scientists could one day harness vitamin C to develop targeted treatments.
Vitamin C has a broad spectrum antioxidant function with the ability to protect cell structures and DNA from free radical damage. It is remarkably safe even in enormously high doses. Compared to commonly used prescription drugs, side effects are virtually nonexistent. No matter how high the concentration, vitamin C does not harm healthy cells. Yet, through an array of enzymatic and metabolic reactions, vitamin C has an impressive ability to protect and treat a wide range of diseases, including cancer.
Colorectal cancer is the third most-common cancer diagnosed in the United States, with about 93,090 new cases each year. Around half of those cases harbor mutations in specific KRAS and BRAF genes; these forms of the disease are more aggressive and don’t respond well to current therapies or chemotherapy.
In a recent study published in Science, a team of researchers from Weill Cornell Medicine, Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory, Tufts Medical Center, Harvard Medical School and The Johns Hopkins Kimmel Cancer Center found that high doses of vitamin C -- roughly equivalent to the levels found in 300 oranges -- impaired the growth of mutant colorectal tumors in cultured cells and mice. The findings could lead to the development of new natural treatments and provide critical insights into who would most benefit from them.
The benefits of long-term vitamin C consumption in excess of the U.S. government recommended daily allowance (RDA) are widely acknowledged and include reduced risks of cancer, cardiovascular disease and cataracts. Higher-than-RDA vitamin C intakes have been associated with increases in good HDL cholesterol, decreases in LDL cholesterol oxidation, decreased blood pressure and decreased cardiovascular mortality.
The first physician to aggressively use vitamin C to treat disease was Frederick R. Klenner, M.D., beginning in the early 1940s. Dr. Klenner successfully treated chicken pox, measles, mumps, tetanus and polio with huge doses of vitamin C. He used massive doses of vitamin C for more than 40 years of family practice. Many practioners who practice with IV vitamin C consider the treatment more effective than any vaccine ever invented.
"Our findings provide a mechanistic rationale for exploring the therapeutic use of vitamin C to treat colorectal cancers that carry KRAS or BRAF mutations," said senior author Dr. Lewis Cantley, the Meyer Director of the Sandra and Edward Meyer Cancer Center and the Margaret and Herman Sokol Professor in Oncology Research at Weill Cornell Medicine.
Laboratory studies have shown that high doses of vitamin C may slow the growth and spread of prostate, pancreatic, liver, colon, and other types of cancer cells
The second mechanism of action is actually a pro-oxidant effect. Doses above 15 grams are proven to have a “pro-oxidant” effect by generating hydrogen peroxide, which in turn selectively destroys cancer cells. High doses of vitamin C are preferentially delivered to the areas surrounding the tumour because the vitamin molecule looks similar to a sugar molecule and cancer cells have an increased demand for sugar to fuel their unregulated growth. When in the area surrounding the cells, the vitamin C molecule reacts with a metal ion such as iron or copper and forms a hydrogen peroxide molecule that damages the cancer cell.
The conventional wisdom is that vitamin C improves health in part because it can act as an antioxidant, preventing or delaying some types of cell damage. However, Dr. Cantley and his colleagues discovered that the opposite was true in regards to high-dose vitamin C’s therapeutic effects for the KRAS and BRAF forms of colorectal cancer -- they occur as a result of inducing oxidation in these cancer cells.
In an oxygen-rich environment such as human arteries, a fraction of vitamin C, also called ascorbic acid, becomes oxidized and is transformed into a new compound called dehydroascorbic acid (DHA). Scientists have known for some time that a specific membrane protein, known as glucose transporter GLUT1, enables both glucose and DHA to enter cells -- an activity not afforded to ascorbic acid. But it was less clear what DHA does once inside the cells.
In the study, investigators show that DHA acts like a Trojan horse. Once inside, natural antioxidants inside the cancer cell attempt to convert the DHA back to ascorbic acid; in the process, these antioxidants are depleted and the cell dies from oxidative stress.
"While many normal cells also express GLUT1, KRAS-mutant and BRAF-mutant cancer cells typically have much higher levels since they require a high rate of glucose uptake in order to survive and grow," Dr. Cantley said. "Also, KRAS and BRAF mutant cells produce more reactive oxygen species than normal cells and therefore need more antioxidants in order to survive. This combination of characteristics makes these cancer cells far more vulnerable to DHA than normal cells or other types of cancer cells."
Although Dr. Cantley cautioned that these results need to be evaluated in the setting of a human clinical trial, the pre-clinical findings may offer a promising new treatment strategy for the KRAS or BRAF forms of the disease, perhaps as part of a combination therapy. The investigators say their study could lead to the development of new biomarkers that could help physicians determine who would most benefit from treatment. These insights may also have implications for other hard-to-treat cancers that express high levels of GLUT1 transporter, such as renal cell carcinoma, bladder cancer and pancreatic cancer.
Vitamin C has multiple effects on cellular functions in addition to its anti- or pro-oxidant functions, so it will be important to study the effects of high-dose vitamin C on normal and immune cells, said lead author Dr. Jihye Yun, a postdoctoral fellow in Dr. Cantley’s lab.
Some human studies of high-dose IV vitamin C in patients with cancer have shown improved quality of life, as well as improvements in physical, mental, and emotional functions, symptoms of fatigue, nausea and vomiting, pain, and appetite loss.
"Further study is definitely needed to expand our understanding of these processes. But now that we know the mechanisms, we can utilize the knowledge wisely to get the desired effects," she said.
"This is not a therapy that you would want to wander into blindly without knowledge of what is going on in your tumor," Dr. Cantley added.
Dosing recommendations also need to be determined. Therapeutic benefit would likely require intravenous injections, as oral doses are not absorbed efficiently in the intestine to achieve the high serum concentration of vitamin C needed to cause toxicity to these cancer cells. Recent phase I clinical trials conducted on humans to test toxicity have shown that intravenous infusion of vitamin C at doses that converted to similar levels of serum as the Cantley mice trials had good safety profiles.
The dosage and route of administration of vitamin C is essential to determine if it has a direct anti-tumour action or a supportive, antioxidant function. The levels needed to achieve direct tumorcidal effects are at least 200-1000 micromol/L. To achieve these higher anti-cancer levels, IV doses of 25-50 grams are required. 50 grams of IV vitamin C can achieve a plasma level of over 14,000 micromol/L. Oral supplementation is insufficient due to very limited absorption in the digestive tract. Plasma vitamin C levels peak after 200 mg of oral supplementation, and maximal oral dosing before loose stools occur is around 4 grams. Oral absorption can be increased if doses are split up during the day, taken with a meal, or in a sustained released formula. Even when using the same 10 gram dose, intravenous administration achieved a 50-150 fold greater plasma vitamin C level compared to oral supplementation.
Vitamin C (and in turn hydrogen peroxide) levels peak within 30 minutes after IV administration and then return to normal within 24 hours. This makes the direct anti-cancer treatment effective for only a short period time and therefore frequent treatments are needed. The benefit of this is that other therapies can be used in short succession after vitamin C without fear of interactions. Most integrative oncologists recommend IV treatments once or twice a week, with oral supplementation on all the other days, for at least 12 months, with regular lab testing to assess tumour markers and progression.
"Our hope is that our study will inspire the scientific community to take a fresh look at this safe and inexpensive natural molecule and stimulate both basic and clinical research regarding vitamin C as a cancer therapy," Dr. Yun said.
“And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb. In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve
manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.”
This Man Found the Cure for All Diseases
Dr Sebi: Man Found “Cures For All Diseases” AND Has The Supreme Court Ruling To Prove It!
By Carolanne Wright
Oct 26, 2015
Meet Dr. Sebi, a pathologist, biochemist and herbalist. He came to the U.S. from Honduras and is on a mission to heal humanity. As it happens, he has been curing some of the most deadly diseases on the planet for almost 30 years. AIDS, cancer, diabetes, lupus and epilepsy are just a few of the ailments he has completely reversed. In fact, he is so committed to his work that he took on the Attorney General of New York in a Supreme Court trial — and won.
Standing Up to the Food and Drug Administration
Back in the 1980’s, Dr. Sebi ran a variety of ads in newspapers like the New York Post, stating: “AIDS has been cured by the Usha Research Institute, and we specialize in cures for Sickle Cell, Lupus, Blindness, Herpes, Cancer and others.” The ad caught the eye of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the agency subsequently sued Dr. Sebi for false advertisement and practicing without a license.
The judge presiding over the case requested that Dr. Sebi provide one witness for each disease he claimed to have cured. When he instead furnished 70 witnesses to support his argument — showing without a doubt that he did in truth heal all the diseases listed in the ad — the judge declared the doctor not guilty on all counts.
Even with his outstanding victory in court, along with testimonials from celebrities and a multitude of people cured by his method, Dr. Sebi’s protocol is still suppressed to this day.
Healing with Electric Foods and Botanicals
The basis behind Dr. Sebi’s approach is clearing the body of excessive mucous, which is believed to be the root of all disease. He explains:
“Our research reveals that all manifestation of disease finds it genesis when and where the mucous membrane has been compromised. For example, if there is excess mucous in the bronchial tubes, the disease is bronchitis; if it is in the lungs, the disease is pneumonia; in the pancreatic duct, it is diabetes; in the joints, arthritis.”
Moreover, mucous in the retina of the eye will cause blindness; if it is found around the thyroid gland, cancer of the thyroid is the result. Basically, disease will arise in the body wherever there’s an accumulation of this stagnant toxin.
According to Dr. Sebi, blood and starch in the diet are the main reasons we can be overrun with clogging plaque. He believes starch is a chemical that wreaks havoc on health, mainly because it causes acidity within the body. The same with animal products. On the whole, an acid body will create toxic mucous and congest the system — leading to inflammation, whereas an alkaline pH will do just the opposite and support vitality.
You may have guessed by this point that consuming an alkaline diet is key. But Dr. Sebi takes his protocol a step further by recommending fasting, along with taking botanical remedies which detox each cell and replace depleted minerals.
The remedies are classified as natural vegetation cell food and nourish cells at a very deep level. Because of this, many find their appetite disappears when they begin using the botanicals. Dr. Sebi notes:
“Although the natural vegetation cell food compounds were designed to extract mucus from a given area of the body, it is also necessary for the body to be cleansed as a whole. What makes our compounds unique is the manner in which they work to cleanse and nourish the entire body.”
The healing diet is found below. It’s important to keep in mind that “Dr. Sebi has recommended the foods that are listed here for the reversal of disease for over 30 years. If your favorite food is missing from the list, our research and results have proven that it has no nutritional value and may be detrimental to your health.”
Amaranth greens – same as Callaloo, a variety of Spinach
Chayote (Mexican Squash)
Izote – cactus flower/ cactus leaf – grows naturally in California
Lettuce (all, except Iceberg)
Mushrooms (all, except Shiitake)
Nopales – Mexican Cactus
Poke salad – greens
Sea Vegetables (wakame/dulse/arame/hijiki/nori)
Tomato – cherry and plum only
Amish girl who fled United States to escape forced chemotherapy is now cancer-free
Friday, October 23, 2015 by: J. D. Heyes
(NaturalNews) Some might call it a "miracle," but alternative and holistic medicine healers aren't really surprised to learn that a 12-year old Amish girl is now cancer-free — after her doctors testified in court just six months ago that she would be dead by now if her family were permitted to refuse her chemotherapy.
As reported by the Medina Gazette, of Medina County, Ohio, Maurice Thompson, head of the libertarian non-profit group 1852 Center for Constitutional Law, said young Sarah Hershberger now shows no signs of being stricken with cancer at all and appears to be healthy.
"She had MRIs and blood work, and the judge over the last year helped facilitate at least one trip to the Cleveland Clinic. The MRIs did not show any cancer," Thompson told the Gazette recently.
He added that her family is continuing to treat her with less invasive alternative medicine.
"Once you have it, you're never 100 percent out of the woods, whether or not you get chemotherapy," he said. "I know how she looks isn't really an indication of whether she has cancer, but she's looking very healthy."
And yet, as the paper noted, not a single trace of cancer has shown up in any test.
Court finds parents have no rights — again
When Sarah was diagnosed with cancer in 2013, her parents, Andy and Anna Hershberger, initially agreed to chemotherapy treatments. However, they opted to end such treatments when Sarah's condition grew worse, fearing that the treatments themselves might eventually lead to her death.
As is typical in today's post-constitutional America, officials at Akron Children's Hospital responded with a legal attempt to strip Sarah's parents of their right to choose their own daughter's medical treatment. The hospital sought court permission to obtain "limited guardianship" over her, thereby giving them the authority over medical decisions pertaining to her. Doctors testified she would not make it six months without chemotherapy.
Initially, Probate Judge John L. Lohn — since retired — ruled that Sarah's parents were competent enough to make medical decisions on their daughter's behalf. Eventually, however, a higher court ordered him to appoint a guardian.
The family responded by fleeing the country, choosing instead to seek alternative medical treatment in Mexico and Canada. Months thereafter, the hospital decided to relinquish guardianship, seeing no point in pursuing the matter further.
According to the Gazette:
"Thompson said Probate Judge Kevin Dunn — who replaced Lohn when he retired in 2014 — formally terminated Sarah's guardianship on September 24. Thompson said the judge acknowledged that Sarah, who will turn 13 in November, showed no symptoms of cancer and that she appeared to be healthy."
Following Sarah's case, Thompson has since called on Ohio lawmakers to reform rules that give judges the authority to overrule parental health care decisions involving their children.
Low survival rates for chemotherapy
"It is now time for Ohio's legislators to protect Ohio families from wayward judges," Thompson said, as reported by the Gazette.
Primarily, Thompson lashed out against the legal test that judges typically utilize in cases like Sarah's, in order to circumvent parental authority in decisions involving their children's health and well-being.
"This test allows county judges to overrule health care, educational and other important decisions of suitable Ohio parents," Thompson said. "In the wake of Sarah's case, the concept came to be known as 'medical kidnapping.' "
While the children's hospital declined to comment on the story, a spokesperson nonetheless told the Gazette that Akron Children's had established a committee to interact with the Amish community, in order to "facilitate better communication regarding health care in the wake of Sarah's case," the paper reported.
That said, overall survival rates for chemotherapy — not the underlying cancer for which mainstream medicine prescribes it — is very low. According to a 2004 study, while some 60 percent of cancer patients in Australia survived, chemotherapy had little or nothing to do with those survival rates.
"I've never met a person who was cured by cancer with chemotherapy. Not a single one," said Natural News editor Mike Adams, the Health Ranger, following actor Patrick Swayze's untimely death from pancreatic cancer (after receiving chemotherapy). "Never even heard of such a person. They don't exist. Even the cancer industry will tell you their 'cure rate' is zero (because they don't believe cancer can ever be cured)."
