IN FLANDERS FIELDS (Poem)
In Flanders Fields
By John McCrae WORLD WAR I
In Flanders fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.
We are the Dead. Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved and were loved, and now we lie,
In Flanders fields.
Take up our quarrel with the foe
To you from failing hands we throw
The torch; be yours to hold it high.
If ye break faith with us who die
We shall not sleep, though poppies grow
In Flanders fields.
I also heard
a song about the same:
IN FLANDERS FIELDS (Song) - By Paul Michael (1975) [If I can get a copy of the AUDIO to the following songs I will yet post them - Steve - 30/12/19]
Where are the boys from over there, they know not what they've done
Nobody ever wins a war, at the point of a gun
Only when God's love rules our hearts, will the final WAR be WON.
There'll be peace upon the earth, in the Kingdom of God's Son
In Flanders Fields where Poppies grow, between the crosses row on row , oh here we lie, Oh don't you, know in Flanders fields.
Editor: Steve: The above Poem and song are heart-cries from those who 'died in wars' for us NOT to repeat their mistakes.
According to the Poem above: We are ALSO supposed to tell their story and WARN others NOT to go down the same road of WAR!
Why? It is totally pointless - and endless people die in vain.
The rich 'overlords' or 'MERCHANTS', as mentioned in Revelations Chapter 18, who send the soldiers off to war - smoke their cigars behind closed safe doors, and never have to fight - whilst they make
billions on sales of weapons to both sides of any given war or conflict, whilst millions of soldiers are killed and maimed in vain; not to mention hundreds of millions of innocent inhabitants that have been
killed in the past 100 years or so in man's senseless wars.
I like the words of the song which are yet ringing in my ears:
'Nobody ever wins a war, at the point of a gun'
Here are the WORDS of yet another WAR PROTEST SONG from the same author written around the time of the infamous VIETNAM WAR in the early seventies.
The words of the following song apply to the situation in the USA TODAY and its divisions between RIGHT & LEFT, RICH & POOR, HAVE-NOTS & HAVES.
The USA today is RIPE for REVOLUTION.
I have often stated on my website, that TRUMP is the only thing holding back the hoards of COMMUNISM or the so-called POOR PEOPLE (who
ignorantly follow both Socialism and Communism), from over-running the USA!
Song; 'LOOK AT THE WAY THEY RAISED US' - By Paul Michael -1972 - USA
Down Down, the sun's going down, the axe is laid to the tree.
Round America she spins round she shall be brought to her knees
We piped we sang we played for you, but you would not take heed.
CHORUS: Look at the way they rasied us. Look at the way they raised us. They think their money has amazed us
America's sinking fast in the sand, her house is DIVIDED it cannot stand.
All your riches and all your wealth. will only bring DESTRUCTION AND HELL
Everyone who has an ear, get right with God, the time draws near
CHORUS: Look at the way they rasied us. Look at the way they raised
us. They think their money has amazed us (And it hasn't)
BRIDGE: BUT I, I'd like to say that the end's coming soon, and if you'd
like to go, you'd better make your reservation while there's still room, still room
CHORUS: Look at the way they rasied us. Look at the way they raised us. They think their money has amazed us.
(REPEAT THE CHORUS)
Woe to this nation, Woe to this nation, the wicked shall be turned into hell and the nations that forget God.
